A fund for kaupapa that support takatāpui (rainbow Māori) communities.
Applications are currently closed, however we hope to open the fund again in the second half of 2024.
The Burnett Foundation Aotearoa Hononga Takatāpui Fund provides funding support to individuals, groups, and legal entities and is intended to support a wide range of kaupapa that align with our funding guidelines.
Underpinning this funding programme are mātāpono which are rooted in Te Ao Māori.
Grants of up to $2,500.
This category is available to individuals, groups, and legal entities.
All approved Pūtea Whanaungatanga applications are paid 100% of the funds upfront.
Applicants are not required to submit a wrap up report after the kaupapa is complete.
Grants from $2,501 to $5,000.
This category is available to individuals, groups, and legal entities.
All approved Pūtea Manaakitanga applications are paid 100% of the funds upfront.
Applicants are required to submit a wrap up report after the kaupapa is complete.
Grants from $5,001 to $10,000.
This category is only available to legal entities.
All approved Pūtea Kaupapa applications are paid 80% of the funds upfront.
The final 20% upon the submission of an approved wrap up report.
