New website user testing

We’re building a new version of our website to better support the many different people who use our services.

We know people come to us with different needs - from detailed sexual health information, to quick answers, to support navigating services. We also know that not everyone wants the same tone, depth, or type of content. The new platform is being designed to be more flexible, easier to use, and better able to support a wider range of communities.

We’re also working to broaden how our digital spaces support people beyond our traditional core audiences, including trans and non-binary people, queer women, and others across our communities.

TL;DR

  • Paid online user testing
  • Running between 13–26 March
  • Scenario-based guided tasks
  • Open to a wide range of people and experiences
  • Straight to sign-up form

Why we’re running user testing

We want real feedback from real people. Your input will help shape:

  • How information is structured
  • How easy the website is to use
  • How safe and welcoming the experience feels
  • How people find the information and support they need

What participation involves

If selected, you will:

  • Take part in online testing during 13–26 March
  • Complete guided scenario-based tasks
  • Share feedback on your experience
  • Receive payment for your time (details shared if selected)
  • Testing will be completed remotely and designed to be easy to follow.

Privacy and trust

We know that privacy, data use, and personalisation can feel sensitive - particularly in queer communities.

Your participation in research is confidential. Any future exploration of personalisation features will be guided by community input and built around user control and transparency.

Who we’re looking for

We want to hear from a wide range of people, including those with different:

  • Identities and lived experiences
  • Comfort levels with sexual health content
  • Experiences using online health information
  • Levels of confidence using digital tools

You don’t need to be an expert - we want real, honest experiences.
