This tool was developed by Te Whatu Ora and Burnett Foundation Aotearoa to help people in Aotearoa understand if they're at risk of mpox.

By answering a few questions the tool will determine your level of risk and if you need to contact Healthline to book an mpox consultation at a dedicated clinic.

As part of this consultation the option of receiving the vaccine as well as the potential risks and benefits will be discussed.

The vaccine may be prescribed by a medical practitioner following the consultation and provided in line with section 29 of the Medicines Act.

Note: Intimate contact includes close skin-to-skin contact (e.g. hugging, kissing, mutual masturbation, oral sex, anal sex, and vaginal sex) and acts like bed sharing.
