Released as New Zealand AIDS Foundation in 2019

In 2019 the New Zealand AIDS Foundation (now Burnett Foundation Aotearoa) prepared five position statements to address its stances on these key elements of the local HIV response.

These position statements are informed by global research, local data and the success of other HIV response organisations around the world. These statements respond to the latest research as at the time of publishing and will be updated on an ongoing basis in light of new discoveries and policy changes.

Burnett Foundation Aotearoa is currently working on updating these positions to align more closely with recent evidence and policy changes both globally and in Aotearoa. Updates are expected in the coming months
